‘What we gonna look at is really quite simple, really simple, really easy, really cheap, there will be some new features and improvements – it doesn’t reflect it sharply like the regular does, it’s got a little bit of a dimple to it .’
Coleman Project Space is pleased to present ‘Sunday’ a new series of temporary, site-specific installations by Thomas Mc Caughan and Piotr Krzymowski.
The London-based artists share an interest in the world of the enthusiast and the curious material solutions, sought by the non-technical expert. With home improvement in mind, they propose a number of “improvised solutions”, in a variety of media, for the gallery’s main spaces. Exploring the history of the site and domestic and leisure routines associated with the week’s end, these works reference the homemade conveniences and instructional methods of amateur fixers.
